Transition Events & College Sessions

In preparation for a college change to the Clifton campus, Blue Ash and Clermont students can attend a Welcome to Clifton! session.  These sessions are offered each semester in May, August, and January/December.

This event includes info about Clifton campus connections, resources and events; an opportunity for students to ask questions; a tour of campus; and lunch!  

For Summer 2026 and Fall 2026 college change students, a Welcome to Clifton! session will be offered as follows: (Check-in is 9:00 AM.)

  • Wednesday May 6, 2026 at 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM in TUC 310 (Career Studio)

Welcome to Clifton! Registration Form

In addition to the Welcome session, students may connect with their college after the morning session. Colleges included are:

  • Allied Health Sciences
  • Arts & Sciences
  • Business
  • CECH
  • DAAP
  • Public Health (COM)

Transition Table Fairs are intended to provide a connection point for current regional campus students who plan to transition to another college at UC to complete their degrees. Students have the opportunity for direct contact with representatives from their college of choice and programs of interest that will help support their transition process. Students will connect with college representatives during these tabling events.

The next Transition Table Fair will be held in October 2026.

Regional campus advisors can assist students with navigating the steps to college change and connection to people and resources to support that college change.

Transition Advising by College

Transition advisors are available to provide students support as they prepare for transition through a college change from UC Clermont to other UC colleges. 

Please see below for information regarding contact with advisors in each college and Pre-Professional Advising. Review how you can schedule an appointment or attend an information session.

Transition Advising Appointments for First Year Students

For students who are considering a major in the College of Allied Health Sciences and are early on in their program (less than 30 credit hours), a CAHS admissions counselor, A’Jiana Birchmore, is available via email to answer questions and is available to talk with students via phone/computer. Transition Advising Appointments for Second Year Students

For students who are over 30 credits hours and/or are ready to transition to a bachelor’s degree program in the College of Allied Health Sciences within the next few semesters, the transition advisor for CAHS, Lois Kwa, is available to answer questions via email and is available for appointments. Students can email Lois at lois.kwa@uc.edu to request an appointment.

Lois will be offering transition advising appointments for Clermont Students on the dates below.  Please email Lois at lois.kwa@uc.edu  to request an appointment. (If these days/times do not work with your schedule, please email Lois to request an alternative.

The transition counselor for A&S is available for appointments for Clermont students interested in college change to a major in the College of Arts & Sciences.

Students who have questions about a college change to Arts & Sciences for Summer 2026 should email the A&S staff at artsci@ucmail.uc.edu to request an appointment.

Students looking to pursue Dental Hygiene, Nursing Technology, or Radiologic Technology at UC Blue Ash should start with a Pre-Appointment Activity Session to learn more about requirements to apply to these selective admissions programs: Blue Ash Pre-Appt Session Registration

Students looking to pursue Veterinary Technology can call the UCBA Advising Center to schedule an appointment with an advisor: 513-558-9442.

Information sessions hosted by the department are also available for selective admissions programs including Dental Hygiene, Health Care Support Technician, Nursing Technology, Radiologic Imaging Technology, and Veterinary Technology. To register to attend, please visit the Blue Ash Information Sessions webpage.

The transition advisor for Acting, Media Production, Musical Theatre is Joshua Chal.  Students may send inquiries about the application process for those BFA programs to Joshua at chaljh@ucmail.uc.edu.

The transition advisor for BFA in Ballet and BA/BM programs is Gabriel Saba.  Students may send inquiries about the application process for BFA in Ballet, BA or BM programs to Gabriel at sabagg@ucmail.uc.edu.

CEAS is offering Transition Drop-in Hours for students planning to college change to CEAS.

Students seeking information about requirements for college change, Math/Science GPA calculations, application steps or status, or assistance to schedule an appointment with a CEAS Advisor for more specific academic questions should connect with Olivia Schafer on Tuesdays for assistance.

Students must meet with a Public Health advisor prior to their Change of College application being processed.  Students can request an appointment on the form located at the Public Health Major Change web page.

The transition advisor for the College of Pharmacy, Josh Cato (Admissions Counselor), is available to answer questions about the admissions and application process to the PharmD program via email and for appointments via phone/computer.
