If you plan to pursue an associate degree, contact UC Clermont's Student Development Office and ask for application forms. UC Clermont's open admission policy means that any high school graduate will be accepted into the college regardless of the classes taken in high school. Nongraduates can qualify by providing GED scores. The Student Development Office can also help you with financial aid information.
If you want to take only a class or two, there is no need to ho through the admissions process. Just stop by the college or call to request registration information by mail.
English, math, and typing placements tests are required before entering this program. (A typing speed of 35 wpm is required.)
Of Special Interest
At UC Clermont, individual attention is the rule, not the exception. Business Information Technology students work individually on state-of-the art equipment.
In addition, Tech Prep and articulation agreements with local high schools and vocational schools permit students to earn college credits for selected courses.
We're aware that goals and experiences are as individual as people themselves, and we want to help you. UC Clermont class scheduling is designed to help you meet your particular needs. Courses are offered in the morning, afternoon, evening and on weekends. Some courses are offered via the Work Wide Web. You can start your college career any quarter of the year and attend full-time or part-time. For those with related skill proficiency, advanced standing may be available. And, if you need help outside the classroom, we have programs and people who can provide that, too.
