The
Paralegal Program at the College of Education, Criminal
Justice, and Human Services (CECH) is approved by the
American Bar Association and designed to prepare student to
aid attorneys in the delivery of quality legal services.
The curriculum includes a combination of legal theory with
practical applications since paralegals may be responsible
to prepare documents, interview clients, research legal
problems and assist attorneys at trial. Experienced
attorneys and paralegals teach all classes. The College of
Education, Criminal Justice, and Human Services (CECH) offers a bachelor's
completion program for UC Clermont students who have completed an associate
degree in paralegal technology. All courses are held at UC Clermont campus
in Batavia or at the UC Clermont Park 50 TechneCenter. For more information,

Advanced Legal Research
and Writing

Improve practical
legal research/writing skills learned in Legal Research I & II.
Develop ability to put into written form results derived from
identification/analysis of legal issues. Enhance word processing
skills to facilitate production of a legal document, pleading,
memorandum of law, or brief.
