Because the topic of ethics may be represented in many different disciplines, no one area contains all the possible sources. The following list provides access to a variety of databases that could be useful.
ABI/Inform Complete (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://proquest.umi.com/login?COPT=SU5UPTAmVkVSPTImREJTPTE5M0M@&clientId=5468) ABI/INFORM Complete is comprised of full-text business periodicals and news sources from ABI/INFORM Global, Dateline, Trade & Industry, and ABI/INFORM Archive. This combination of products, covering different aspects of business information, covers scholarly research, businesses traditions and trends, corporate strategies, management techniques, and competitive and product information. Some periodicals go back as far as 1912.
Business Source Complete (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.asp?profile=web&defaultdb=bth) Full text for over 10,000 scholarly business journals and other sources, including full text for more than 1,150 peer- reviewed business publications.
Academic Search Complete (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?profile=ehost&defaultdb=a9h) Provides citations to articles published in journals and magazines. This database covers a variety of topics, including social issues, current events, health, politics, the environment, and popular culture.
Humanities International Complete (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.asp?profile=web&defaultdb=hlh) Providing full text of hundreds of journals, books and other published sources from around the world, this database includes all data from American Humanities Index and Humanities International Index (over 1.6 million records) plus unique full text content.
ERIC (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.asp?profile=web&defaultdb=eric) ERIC indexes education-related literature, beginning in 1966. The ERIC database is the world's largest source of education information, containing abstracts of documents and journal articles on education research and practice.
SocINDEX with Full Text (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://search.ebscohost.com/login.asp?profile=web&defaultdb=sih) A comprehensive sociology research database, SocINDEX features more than 1,910,000 records, containing full text for 397 "core" coverage journals dating back to 1908, and 150 "priority" coverage journals. This database also includes full text for more than 720 books and monographs, and full text for 6,743 conference papers.
PsychINFO (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://rave.ohiolink.edu/databases/login/psyc Produced by the American Psychological Association, this database contains citations that is created in electronic form. Although the references themselves are all written in English, the covered literature includes material published in over 45 countries and written in 30 languages.
Criminal Justice Periodic Index (Full Text) (http://proxy.libraries.uc.edu/login?url=http://proquest.umi.com/login?COPT=SU5UPTAmVkVSPTImREJTPTExMjE@&clientId=5468)This Index provides information on virtually any criminal justice topic, including corrections administration, law enforcement, social work, industrial security, drug rehabilitation, and criminal and family law.
