Many items may be checked out of the library. These items can be found by browsing in the following sections:
N Visual Arts NA Architecture NB Sculpture NC Drawing, Design, Illustration ND Painting NE Print Media NK Decorative arts NX Arts in general
An effective way to find resources on your topic of interest is to perform a SUBJECT search in catalog (http://uclid.uc.edu/search/x) for:
Art Art 16th century Art 19th century Art Africa (or any country name) Art, American (or other culture) Art -- history Art, classical Art deco etc.
You may also search an artist as a SUBJECT: last name, first name
If you find no materials on your topic through a SUBJECT search, you can do KEYWORD searches using key concepts. From the results, identify an item or two that is most relevant to your topic; look at the item record and identify the subject heading that best represents your selected concept. Click on the subject heading to see additional items and/or note it for later searching.
You may limit your location to Clermont. However, be aware that this limit would eliminate electronic books and resources from the results.
