Call Number Guide Header

The call number system used by the University of Cincinnati is the Library of Congress Classification.  This is different than the system used by most high schools and public libraries also known as the Dewey Decimal Classification system.  The Library of Congress system uses a combination of letters and numbers whereas the Dewey Decimal system uses primarily numbers.
