You may perform a search in the online catalog (http://uclid.uc.edu/search/X) using KEY concepts that interest you, such as:

  bioKW

From the search results, identify an item or two that is most relevant to your topic, look at the record and identify the SUBJECT heading that best represents your selected concept.

In this case, one SUBJECT heading is "viruses".   A SUBJECT search for this topic will yield more focused results.

You may limit your location to “Clermont," however, be aware that this will eliminate important resources that can be easily borrowed from another UC library.

You can also expand your search into the OhioLINK Central Catalog and borrow items from academic libraries across the state.

Some specific SUBJECT headings related to Biology are listed below:

Adaptation (Biology)

Biodiversity

Ecology

Evolution

Genetics

Human Biology

Insects—Biology

Life (Biology)
