Just Want to Take a Course?

Students may take classes at Clermont College without enrolling into a degree or certificate program. A non-degree seeking students official status is "non-matriculated", which is a traditional meaning academic term meaning "not enrolled in a degree program."

Taking classes as a non-degree student at UC Clermont College is a great way to update you current skill or to advance your career. The credits you earn may apply to degree or certificate requirements if you later decide to seek admission.

 

You may enroll in classes following these easy steps:

  1. Complete the Basic Data Form

    The Basic Data Form enables the Registration Office to update or create your student record. After submitting the Basic Data Form please allow two business days for processing to obtain your Username. Once you have your Username you are able to begin registering.

  3. Get your Username

    A Username is required to register for classes. Once your Basic Data Form is entered into our university database you will be able to retrieve your Username via the One Stop website. Click Get my Username and enter the required data.
               
  4. View Class Offerings

    Select the class you wish to register for by viewing class offerings.

    Math and English classes require a placement test or approved advanced standing from another college.

    Prerequisites are required before enrolling in certain courses. Prerequisites are listed on the class offerings under the 'Pre/Co-Requisite' column. A Corequisite is a course taken in conjunction with another course during the same term.

  5. Register for class(es)

    You are ready to register for classes! Registering on-line at One Stop is a simple process.
    ►Log on to register for classes with your student ID
    ►Your initial password is Uc!mmddyyyy (using your birthdate, for example Uc!06301992). If you need to reset your password, click to view Password Reset

  6. Print Schedule

    Your schedule provides you with the days, building and room number for each registered class.


  7. Health Insurance

    Any student who registers for six or more credit hours is eligible for coverage and will be automatically charged unless they file a waiver of health insurance and the waiver is approved. Learn more about health insurance at UC.

  8. View/Pay Bill

    Bills are due 10 days before the term starts. There are no adjustments for national or UC holidays. If you register within 10 days before the term starts, payment is due at the time of registration.

    ►Non-Matriculated students are ineligible for financial aid.
    ►Please note there may be late registration fees or late fees assessed to your student bill. Check calendars for dates.

  9. Textbooks

    You may purchase textbooks at the Follett Bookstore located on campus in the Edith Peter Jones Building, lower level. You may check for textbooks on-line. Questions? Call 513.732.5203
