Congratulations on your decision to attend University of Cincinnati Clermont College!

Our top priority is to assist you in making a successful academic and social transition into the UC-Clermont College community. For this reason, all new students are required to attend an orientation program before their first term of attendance. New students will not be able to register for classes until they've attended orientation.

New Student Orientation-Cougar Connections
During New Student Orientation, you will learn about academic policies and college procedures. You'll receive academic advice, register for your first term classes and find out what you need to succeed in your college program. You'll also learn about campus life, student activities, and other University services.

Parents
Parents are welcome to attend the New Student Orientation. We have prepared an information session designed for the parents of incoming students. This information session will occur while the students are participating in their advising and registration sessions. Some of our smaller orientations may not offer a parent session.

Username/Password Set-up
Before coming to orientation, we recommend you set up your Username and password. This process is completed at the University’s OneStop website, www.onestop.uc.edu under “My Information”. Detailed instructions are provided in your orientation invitation. If you experience any trouble with this process, please contact UCIT Helpdesk at 513-556-HELP (4357).

UConnect Email Set-up
UC Clermont and the University of Cincinnati send all communications to their students via email. For this reason, each student is issued an email account connected to their username and password. This is the sole email account used for college communications. Students are required to check their UC email regularly to ensure prompt delivery of up to date information. Set-up can be completed at www.onestop.uc.edu under “UC Tools” and “Student E-mail”.

UC Student ID
Students will have the opportunity to have their student ID made at New Student Orientation. This ID is required to gain access to services and discounts available to University of Cincinnati students ONLY. A picture ID, such as a driver’s license or state ID, is required to obtain your student ID.
