Congratulations on your recent admission offer! There are just a few more steps to complete on your way to becoming a UC student at Clermont College.
Steps for Newly Admitted Students
Step 1: Confirm your Admission
This is an important step, because it allows us to finalize your fiancial aid arrangements and allows you to complete the admission process. You can confirm your admission online. This will require you to pay a $50 matriculation fee by credit or debit card. If you cannot make this payment electronically, please print the Admissions Confirmation Form and send it with a check or money order payable to the University of Cincinnati in the amount of $50 to:
Office of Admissions
University of Cincinnati
PO Box 210091
Cincinnati, OH 45221-009
The confirmation deadline for spring semester 2016 is December 15, 2015.
Step 2: Take Placement Tests
Placement testing will help assess your skills in various areas to determine the best courses for you to begin a successful academic experience. Most incoming students need to complete all portions but some students are able to opt out of a test based on minimum ACT, SAT or AP test scores or transfer credit.
Please visit Testing Services for information on possible exemptions, how to complete the tests online or to schedule an on-campus test. You must complete your placement tests before you can attend orientation and before you can register for classes.
Step 3: Attend Orientation
Orientation is all about you! Our orientation will help connect you to important resources and information that will support you in becoming a successful college student at UC Clermont College. Orientation is required for all students new to UC Clermont College.
Allied health students will also attend a separate advising session in addition to orientation. Call the allied health office at 513-732-5339 to schedule an advising appointment.
Police academy students should contact the commander to get information on attending separate a academy orientation.
Once you have completed the placement test or are exempt from the test (see exemptions), you will receive an invitation in the mail to register for orientation.
Once you have completed your registration, a confirmation will be sent to your UC student email account. You can login with your UC credentials. You can make changes to your orientation reservation up to one week prior to your orientation date. Please remember that you must attend orientation before you will be able to register for classes.
Time is of the essence as students who complete steps one, two and three 30 to 60 days before school starts have greater flexibility in scheduling classes and preparing them for success!
