Each degree seeking student will be required to take a keyboarding assessment which will test students’ current typing skills. Students are given three minutes to type a paragraph as quickly and as accurately as possible. At the end of the three minutes, a score will be determined and a copy of that score will be given to each student. A successful result is minimum keyboarding score of 35 words per minute (the score is a combination of both speed and accuracy).
Students are given the opportunity to take a practice test and are able to take the actual test up to 4 times.
