The foreign language placement test is currently available to students who would like to test their skills in French, German or Spanish. However, it is not currently a required part of the placement process at Clermont College.
To schedule a time to take the foreign language placement test, please contact Julie Eagen by phone: (513) 732-5219 or by e-mail: Julie.Eagen@uc.edu. The test takes approximately one half hour to complete.
After taking the test, you will receive a score along with the corresponding courses you may register for. If you receive a score that places you into a course level above 101 or 111, you will be able to receive credit for courses you place out of. For example, if you place into 103 and then take and successfully pass 103, you will receive credit for both 101 and 102.
