Clermont College Library's First Annual Edible Book Festival took place on April 17, 2006 and had 18 entries.
Titles included, but were not limited to, Huckleberry Finn, The Old Man and the Sea, Skinny Dip, and Two for the Dough. The food included, but was not limited to, cold cuts, cheese, prunes, licorice, jelly beans, marshmallows, graham crackers, fruit, vegetables, herring, bread/biscuit, and lasagna (meatless). Oh, and of course cake. :)
The contest has two simple rules: 1. The creations must be edible 2. The creation must have some connection to books
The next Edible Book Festival is tentatively set for Tuesday, April 3, 2007.
