1.What is the College Success Program? The College Success Program provides individual support to help build a solid academic foundation so that students succeed in college-level courses.
2.Am I eligible? Incoming full-time students who place into two or more classes that are below college level in math, English and reading are eligible.
3.Who is my Achievement Coach? Linsey Koeritz is the Achievement Coach. She can be reached at 732-5316 orLinsey.Koeritz@uc.edu
4.Specifically, what will I discuss with my Achievement Coach? You will discuss a wide range of academic issues and may discuss personal issues if you would find that helpful. She will discuss goals, individual plans, courses, study schedules and much more.
5.How often will I meet with my Achievement Coach? You will be required to meet several times during the quarter but may meet more frequently if you wish.
6.Do I need an appointment or are there walk-in hours? It is helpful to have an appointment but she does offer many walk-in hours. She is on campus Mondays-Fridays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. She does offer late hours as needed.
7.What support services are available on campus? There is a wide range of support that is available including The Learning Center, Disability Services, COMPASS, financial aid and more. Please see the links for a comprehensive list.
8.How will I hear about news and announcements? You will receive e-mail announcements. In addition, announcements are posted on a Blackboard page and a MySpace page.
