Employment Faculty Positions


The University of Cincinnati Clermont invites applications for the following positions to begin September 1, 2006. UC Clermont is an open admissions branch campus of the University of Cincinnati located in the Cincinnati metropolitan area, with an enrollment of approximately 2,700 students. The College offers a variety of certificates, two-year technical degrees and transfer programs. Faculty responsibilities include teaching 36 credit hours per academic year, scholarly activity, research, and service to the Division, College, University and community. Candidates must provide evidence of college-level teaching experience (graduate teaching assistant, adjunct or full-time faculty experience.)

ASSISTANT PROFESSOR OF ENGLISH

(24UC1163) Min. Quals.: Earned doctorate in English with college-level teaching experience in composition courses. Field specialization or professional emphasis in Composition and Rhetoric highly desirable. Secondary specialization in one of the following areas: Developmental writing, journalism, or technical and professional writing is welcome. This position includes teaching as well as participation in formative assessment and curriculum development in the English area, service at the Divisional and College levels, and ongoing engagement in scholarly activities.
